Emmy and I are off! We are taking the once in a lifetime drive across the US. You can see the route above but Emmy and I will be posting updates and photos, but without all the boring driving in between. I can't think of a better co-pilot or experience to have.
Before I left I spoke with my aunt Mare who made the trip accross country with my mom and their sister, Kathy, and their mother, my grandmother, in the 70s. It was interesting to hear about the towns they stopped in, the things they saw and the adventures they had. My grandfather thought it was an essential trip to take so you could fully appreciate America, and the rest of the world.
